Chris had always been a traveler, an adventurer in search of meaning and experiences beyond the ordinary. His journey took him across continents, exploring cultures, cuisines, and ideas that shaped his vision of the world.

One fateful day, while wandering through São Paulo, he discovered something that would change his life forever—Açaí. He had tried it before in Australia, but never like this. This was different—fresher, richer, bursting with flavor. Intrigued, he spoke to the locals, eager to learn more about this remarkable berry. He discovered that Açaí wasn’t just a fruit; it was a superfood, packed with ten times more antioxidants than blueberries and thirty-five times more vitamin C than oranges.

Chris had always said that if he found a concept he truly believed in while traveling, he would turn it into something bigger—something meaningful. And there, on a warm evening while walking along Ipanema Beach in Rio de Janeiro, the idea for Açaí & Me was born. It started as a whisper, a dream so fragile that speaking too loudly about it felt like it might disappear. But Chris knew he had found something special.

The vision was clear: to bring the highest-quality Açaí from Brazil to the world, but with the vibrant, stylish presentation that places like Bali and Australia had perfected. In a world dominated by fast food giants, he wanted to create something different—something that aligned with the growing movements of veganism, sustainability, and conscious eating.

One constant truth Chris noticed was that people of an older age often regretted one thing—not traveling and seeing the world while they had the chance. He grasped this early. After graduating from the University of Manchester with a degree in Economics, he realized that time was too short to postpone adventure. Instead of diving straight into a career, he decided to explore the world first.

With a promising position secured through Pareto Law, Chris made the bold decision to put it on hold and travel. 

But how?

With no money and just a dream, his friends called it impossible.

Determined, he sought a skill that was transferable across the world. He couldn’t be an investment banker for three months at a time in different cities, but he could be a bartender. Inspired by the idea, he walked into Manchester House, one of the city’s best bars, and landed the job—not because of experience, but because of attitude.

From there, he took his craft across the world—working and traveling through New York, Dubai, Australia, Southeast Asia, and Ibiza—turning a simple idea into a way of life.

Chris’s journey was anything but conventional. His travels took him across continents, introducing him to new cultures, ideas, and ways of life. It was in Ibiza where everything started to align—a place that felt like a crossroads of adventure and opportunity.

Here, he found himself surrounded by like-minded individuals, each with their own stories of exploration and ambition. It was in this vibrant setting that his vision for the future truly began to take shape.
